Welcome to The Civil Celebrant, my name is Simone Walsh and I look forward to working together to create your ceremony! For as long as I can remember I have been on hand to help family and friends organise celebrations; including choosing a venue, catering arrangements, decorations, even down to the outfit they would wear! So being a celebrant, really is the icing on the cake! I am a formally trained independent celebrant, with a background in nursing and public speaking. I aim to quickly put couples at ease, and encourage them to open their imagination to all the possibilities for a wonderful celebration!

The best part of my job is creating a ceremony that is centred around the couple and their love story. Knowing that every element was considered to reflect in some way the journey they have travelled to arrive at their wedding day, be that six months or 26 years!
